The space

Thoughtfully designed on a single level to revolve around the infinity pool and showcase breathtaking views of the Luberon, the villa is designed for families or groups of friends seeking an ideal gathering spot. The house underwent a complete remodel in July 2023, guaranteeing a contemporary and comfortable environment. It boasts six separate bedrooms, all air-conditioned and featuring their own bathrooms. Four of these bedrooms offer an extra touch of privacy with individual terraces. Bedroom 6 is like a studio apartment with its own little kitchen area.

A spacious living room with a fireplace sets the stage for convivial gatherings, complemented by an open kitchen equipped with its own fireplace. The kitchen, outfitted with modern amenities such as a dishwasher, two fridges, a freezer, and a gas-cooking piano with two ovens, opens onto a beautiful terrace overlooking the pool. The main terrace, adorned with decorative reed screening, provides a perfect setting to come together while enjoying stunning sunset views over the Luberon.

The meticulously landscaped one-hectare garden is adorned with lavender fields and a boules court for those idyllic Provençal evenings when you engage in a friendly game of pétanque before retreating to the terrace for a relaxing apéritif at sunset. Another option: from the outdoor jacuzzi, you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the lavender fields and the sunset.

Entertainment options abound, with a large flat-screen TV and a second TV featuring a PS5 game console with a selection of games. Board games are also available for relaxed evenings. Behind the house is a ping-pong table.

The property is peacefully located on an enclosed plot surrounded by nature, only an 8-minute drive from the hilltop village of Goult in the heart of the Luberon Valley in Provence. The property and the village of Goult are approximately 40 kilometres from Avignon and 60 kilometres from Aix-en-Provence. The nearest airport is Marseille Provence Airport. The nearest train station is Avignon TGV.

The neighborhood

Goult is a captivating village known for its timeless charm and authentic Provencal character. With its meandering cobblestone streets, picturesque squares, its historic windmill and stunning views of the Luberon Valley, Goult invites visitors to savour the essence of Provence in a tranquil and enchanting setting. The village boasts some nice restaurants and cafes, a few shops, and an outdoor market on Thursday mornings from April to September.
The famous village of Gordes, recently voted Most Beautiful Village in the World by Travel & Leisure Magazine, is a 12-minute drive away, and the cute village of Saint-Pantaléon is only a 3-minute drive away.

Getting around

We recommend travellers wishing to stay in this property to have a car. However, The Luberon Concierge can arrange to have guests picked up from the airport or the train station, and a chauffeur can be available upon request during their stay.
