In the heart of Provence, near Roussillon, this elegant villa seamlessly blends authenticity with modern comfort. With six bedrooms, a spectacular 19m private pool, panoramic terraces and 4 hectares of landscaped grounds, it is a unique retreat for family gatherings or escapes with friends in the Luberon—a place where the Provençal art of living truly shines.
The space
This exceptional property is composed of two traditional farmhouses surrounding a charming courtyard, offering an intimate, elegant, and peaceful setting for unforgettable holidays with family or friends.
The Main House
The main villa features 4 tastefully decorated bedrooms, designed for both style and comfort:
Ground floor: one double bedroom (convertible into twin beds) with en-suite bathroom including bathtub, shower, and separate WC. Underfloor cooling ensures comfort during the summer months.
Upstairs: three bedrooms with queen beds, each with en-suite shower room. Two have separate WCs, while the third includes a WC in the bathroom. All rooms feature reversible air conditioning and ceiling fans for year-round comfort.
At the heart of the house lies the spacious kitchen, fully equipped with 2 refrigerators, 2 dishwashers, 2 ovens (including a steam oven), induction hob and gas range. Open to the dining area, living room, and main terrace, it is designed for those who love to cook while staying connected with the group.
The large living room, with its ochre stone wall emblematic of Roussillon, invites relaxation. You may even encounter Marmelade, the resident cat, who enjoys lounging for indulgent naps (his presence requires no care, though we mention it in case of allergies).
The dining room opens directly to the kitchen and shares a double-sided fireplace insert with the entrance hall, creating a cozy atmosphere for cooler evenings.
The Second House
Across the courtyard, the second farmhouse (partly private) offers two additional independent bedrooms:
Ground floor: one double bedroom with en-suite shower room and WC.
Upstairs: one double bedroom (convertible into twin beds), accessed via an exterior staircase, with a private terrace. It features a ceiling fan, underfloor cooling, en-suite bathroom with shower and WC, plus a washbasin in the bedroom.
The Outdoors
The star of the property is without doubt the spectacular 19 x 4 m pool, secured by a rolling cover and complete with summer kitchen, lounge area, and outdoor shower.
Around the house, several outdoor dining areas allow you to gather together or retreat for a quiet moment throughout the day:
- a round table in front of the living room,
- a shaded dining area protected from the mistral under the trellis,
- a panoramic terrace next to the kitchen with dining table and aperitif corner.
Additional amenities include a floodlit pétanque court for lively evenings, a barbecue, table tennis, and a Mediterranean garden filled with local plants and centuries-old olive trees.

Domaine Soulèu is easily reached in about 55 minutes from Avignon TGV station, while Marseille Provence International Airport is just over an hour’s drive away.

Just 7 minutes by car from Roussillon and 12 minutes from Gordes, Domaine Soulèu enjoys a prime location for exploring the treasures of the Luberon. Stroll through the picturesque lanes of Roussillon, admire its famous red cliffs, or follow the spectacular Ochre Trail. The property is also a perfect base for discovering other iconic hilltop villages such as Gordes, Bonnieux, or Lacoste, as well as the lively town of Apt with its renowned Provençal market. With its nearby cafés, restaurants, and scenic walking paths, it offers an authentic immersion into the very best of Provence.
Getting around
We recommend travellers wishing to stay in this property to have a car. However, The Luberon Concierge can arrange to have guests picked up from the airport or the train station, and a chauffeur can be available upon request during their stay.
Cancelation policy
Cancelation policy
This contract is binding from the date of signature and deposit payment. If the Owner does not receive the deposit within three days, this contract will be automatically cancelled.
If the Main Guest wishes to cancel this contract, they must inform the Owner immediately in writing. The 30% deposit is non-refundable and will be retained by the Owner.
If the Main Guest cancels less than 30 days before the arrival date, all amounts paid by the Main Guest will be retained by the Owner, except for the security deposit.
In the unlikely event that the Owner must cancel this contract if unforeseeable circumstances or Force Majeure make enjoyment of the property impossible, the Owner will refund the Main Guest the total amount paid for the reservation. No compensation will be granted.
